📚🎉 Back to School Bash Information 🎉📚
Saturday, July 25th
4-7PM
📍 Location:
Burke County Recreation Department Gym
102 Highway 24 South (next to the public library)
4:00-7:00. PM
Here’s how everything will work:
🎒 School Supplies
* Grab one of our bags, or bring your own bookbag.
* Visit the school supply table where our staff & volunteers will help fill your bag with school supplies.
👕 Gently Used Clothing & Shoes
* Shopping bags will be available at the end of the clothing tables.
* One bag per student.
* Fill your bag as much as you’d like, but it must be able to close.
* Please be considerate so there’s plenty for other families.
📚 New & Used Books
* Each student may choose a couple of books.
* Please be mindful of others so everyone has an opportunity to take some home.
💈 Free Haircuts
* Available on a first come, first served basis while time allows.
* A limited waiting area will be available near the barbers.
* Please remember our barbers will be wrapping up around 7:00 PM.
🌭 Free Food
* Enjoy FREE hot dogs, chips, and drinks at the concession stand from 4:00–7:00 PM. Other concession items will be available for purchase.
🎮 Game Truck
* The game truck will be on site from 5:00–7:00 PM.
🏀 Basketball Courts
* Unfortunately, the bounce houses have been canceled due to the weather.
* Feel free to bring your own basketball and enjoy the outdoor courts if weather permits.
