BCPS - SUMMER HOURS OF OPERATION
To support organizational effectiveness, maintain district operations, and promote employee well-being, all Burke County School District offices, facilities, and staff will operate on a 4-day Compressed Work Week from Monday, June 8, 2026 - Friday, July 17, 2026. (7:00 am - 5:30 pm)

Free Summer Meals for Burke County Kids!
The Burke County School Nutrition Program is launching its Summer Food Service Program. Here is what you need to know:
Dates: June 10th – July 15th
Who Qualifies: All children from birth to 18 years old.
What You Get: Weekly pickup boxes containing 5 days of breakfasts and lunches.
When/Where: Please read this flyer for pick-up dates and locations.
Important Note: Per USDA rules, we must collect the name, age, race, and ethnicity of each child receiving meals. We will collect this information at your first pickup.

Important Notice for All Parents & Guardians: We are implementing a new process for the upcoming school year to ensure that all student information is accurate and up to date. This includes emergency contacts, medical details, transportation needs, and communication preferences.
Action Required:
All parents and guardians must complete the 2026–2027 Current Student Information Update through the Parent Portal before the first day of school.
Important: Students will NOT receive a class schedule until the update is completed.
