Director of Testing & Instructional Technology
As Director of Testing, my role is to oversee state and local assessments and ensure that all individuals adhere to procedures and regulations contained in the GaDOE’s Student Assessment Handbook and our local District Assessment Plan. I work as a liaison with the Georgia Department of Education to relay relevant testing information to school testing coordinators, administrators and teachers.
As Director of Instructional Technology, my role is to provide training and support for educational technology. I am passionate about integrating new technology in the classroom and understand that schools must apply technology properly to excel in today’s environment. It is my desire that Burke County join the elite list of districts. I am committed to keeping Burke County aware of the latest trends, training teachers, and troubleshooting problems when they arise.
