Student Performance Data
The Criterion Referenced Competency Test (CRCT) measures how well students have acquired the skills and knowledge measured by the Georgia Quality Core Curriculum (QCC). The CRCT scores are reported as scale scores, 850 indicate a level that exceeds the standards for that test or domain. Scores ranging from 700 to 950 for each content area and domain. Scale scores above 850 indicate a level that exceeds the standards for that test or domain. Scores ranging from 800 to 849 indicate a level that meets standards, and scores below 300 does not meet standards set for that test.
The information presented gives the number of students tested, and the number of students in each level scoring. The total represents the number students in the group that met the standard and those that did not. The percent represents the percent of the group that met the standard.
The 1991 General Assembly of the Georgia legislature passed legislation mandating that the State Board of Education implement changes relating to the student assessment program. The test is designed to measure achievement of writing skills that are considered essential for academic growth and development. The writing scores are reported as scaled scores ranging form 300 to 400. Scores ranging from 349 to 367 indicate a level of writing that is on target, and scores ranging from 300 to 348 indicate a level of writing that is not on target.
The information presented gives the number of students tested and the level of writing for that group of students.
Iowa Test of Basic Skills
The ITBS is administered during the fall of each school year to seventh grade students. This test is designed to measure how well students have learned basic knowledge and skills taught. It is also used to obtain information about how the performance of Georgia students compares with that of others in a national sample. The scores in this study are reported in percentile ranks for the content areas of reading, language, math, social studies and science.
Blank years in the report indicates that the school does not have the data for that year. Assessment results are provided to parents with scoring interpretation guides.
Benchmark, Testing, are use to improve student performance. The test is aligned according to Georgia Performance Standards and local curriculum maps. It is used to identify, then track (by measuring) specific variables that are proven to be specific, measurable, achievable, realistic, and time specific. A pre-test is administered in August followed by a post-test at the end of each 9-weeks grading period. The most important use of the data is to identify students who need remediation in a specific area.

AIMS web provides teachers, school administrators and parents a complement to the summative (high stakes) assessment l/evaluation model prevalent in education today. All students are assess three times per year for universal screening (early identification), general education progress monitoring and AYP accountability. The results are reported via web-based data management and reporting system to determine response to intervention.
